⏱️

Real-time countdown

A subathon clock that extends automatically with every new sub, gift sub, cheer and donation — updated instantly, no refresh.

🎥

🌐

Multi-platform

Twitch, YouTube and Kick for subs, plus donations via StreamLabs, TipeeeStream, StreamElements, NineStore and Ko-fi — all on one clock.

🎯

Sub & donation goals

Build goal boards that reset daily, weekly, monthly, yearly — or for the whole subathon — each with its own overlay and style.

📊

Public pages & history

Share a public page with your community and keep the full history of your past subathons and goal periods.

🎨

Themes & customization

Fine-tune time added per sub tier, cheer and donation, then pick from 15 themes and custom styles to match your stream.

⚔️

Stream Boss

A boss on screen that your community takes down with subs, bits and donations — whoever lands the final blow takes the crown. Run several at once, each with its own sources and lifetime.

🎉

Happy hour

Multiply the time earned for a set while — on every event or only the ones you pick — launched now or scheduled ahead, with a countdown badge on the overlay.

👥

Share without sharing your account

Let a moderator or co-host add time, start, pause or restyle your timer with their own Twitch login, with only the rights you give them.

How it works

  1. 1

    Connect your platforms

Sign in with Twitch in one click via OAuth — we never see your password — then link YouTube, Kick, StreamLabs, TipeeeStream, StreamElements, NineStore or Ko-fi.

  2. 2

    Set your rules

Choose how much time each sub tier, gift sub, cheer or donation adds to the clock, set a maximum cap, and create your goals.

  3. 3

    Add the overlay to OBS

Copy your unique overlay link and add it as a browser source in OBS (800×200). The timer shows up transparent and updates in real time.

  4. 4

    Start your subathon

Hit start and watch the clock go. Subs, cheers and donations add time automatically while you manage everything from your dashboard.

What data Marathon-Timer accesses, and why

Marathon-Timer only requests the access it needs to run your timer. When you connect a platform, we read the events that add time to your countdown — nothing else. We never post anything on your behalf, never read your private messages, and never sell your data.

  • YouTube: your channel name and the live chat of your own broadcast, so that Super Chats, Super Stickers and memberships can add time to your timer. Regular chat messages are neither stored nor used.
  • Twitch: your account identity and your subscription, gift sub and cheer events, to create your account and extend your countdown.
  • Donation and shop platforms: the amount, date and public name of each donation or sale you choose to connect.

You can disconnect any platform at any time from your dashboard, which deletes the stored access token. Privacy Policy

Frequently asked questions

What is a subathon?

A subathon is a streaming marathon where a countdown timer extends every time someone subscribes, cheers or donates. The stream keeps going until the timer hits zero — an interactive experience that rewards your community's support.

Is Marathon-Timer really free?

Yes. Marathon-Timer is completely free: no subscription, no premium tier and no commission on your subs or donations. It's a project built for the streaming community — you can support it on Ko-fi if you'd like.

Which platforms are supported?

Subs are pulled from Twitch, YouTube and Kick, and donations from StreamLabs, TipeeeStream, StreamElements, NineStore and Ko-fi. Every event is detected automatically and added to your timer.

How do I add the timer to my stream?

After signing in and setting your rules you get a unique overlay link. In OBS, add a Browser Source, paste the link and set the size (recommended 800×200). The timer appears as a transparent overlay on your stream.

Does it work with gift subs and cheers?

Absolutely. Regular subs, resubs, gift subs and community gifts are all detected, and each tier can add a different amount of time. Cheers (bits) and donations add time too.

Can I track sub and donation goals?

Yes. Beyond the subathon, create goal boards (for example "100 subs = emote reveal") that reset on the period you choose and display them as their own overlay with a progress bar.
