1. Purpose

Marathon Timer is a free online tool for streamers: a subathon countdown timer and goal/ milestone overlays (subs, donations) for OBS and a public page. These Terms govern the use of the service.

2. Access & account

Access to the dashboard requires signing in with a Twitch account (OAuth). You are responsible for your account and for the activity carried out through it. The service is provided to streamers; you must comply with the terms of the third-party platforms you connect (Twitch, Google/YouTube, etc.).

3. Third-party connections

You may optionally connect third-party services (Twitch EventSub, YouTube, StreamLabs, TipeeeStream, StreamElements, Ko-fi, NineStore…) by providing your own keys/authorisations. You are responsible for these credentials and for complying with each provider's terms. You can disconnect them at any time.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose, not to insert illegal, hateful or infringing content in the fields you control (goal labels, custom CSS, uploaded fonts/ sounds/images), and not to disrupt the service or attempt to bypass its security.

5. Availability

The service is provided "as is", free of charge, on a best-effort basis, without any guarantee of availability, continuity or absence of errors. It may be modified, suspended or discontinued at any time.

6. Liability

Within the limits permitted by law, the publisher cannot be held liable for indirect damages, loss of data, or for any malfunction of third-party platforms. You remain solely responsible for the timer/goals you display on your stream.

7. Personal data

Personal data processing is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service and request the deletion of your account and data at any time by writing to show e-mail.

9. Changes & governing law

These Terms may be updated; the version in force is the one published on this page. They are governed by French law. Failing an amicable resolution, the competent French courts shall have jurisdiction.
